Why the World Race?

I learned about the World Race Gap Year program when I was about 10 years old. We had a family friend that had gone on the trip, and I heard all about their time. Immediately, I fell in love with it.

There was a long period of time when I wasn't exactly sure this program was for me. College after high school is a big step, but traveling the world, being away from home, and my family for 9 months is a way bigger jump. Although this is true, I trusted that the Lord was calling me to do something bigger than myself.

With a lot of prayer and growth in my faith, I finally decided to apply summer of 2022. Without a doubt, the Lord provided. Now, I'm preparing for my 9 month gap year journey with the World Race, trusting solely in the Lord!!
